ROZ CHAST grew up in Brooklyn, New York, where she attended P.S. 217, Ditmas Junior High, and Midwood High School. She is a longtime cartoonist for The New Yorker. Her graphic memoir, Can’t We Talk About Something More Pleasant?, was the winner of the National Book Critics Circle Award, the Kirkus Prize, and was a finalist for the National Book Award. Her graphic memoir/travel guide about Manhattan, Going Into Town, was published in October 2017.
