Have you ever dreamed about running a mock Congress or model legislature in your middle school or high school class? Or do you already run a model legislature, but want to find a way to make planning and facilitating easier? Join Matt Tyler, the founder of Article 1, for a workshop on Mock Congress. The workshop will run through an abbreviated Mock Congress simulation, where participants will take on the role of members of Congress, propose legislation, and navigate their bills through the committee process. The workshop will also include a discussion of teaching techniques around Mock Congress, so that you can bring it back to your classroom. The workshop is targeted at teachers for grades 5–12, but all are welcome!

CTLE credit will be provided.
