Adapting a novel into dramatic form is a kind of textual analysis, except it's a lot more fun. In this master class, participants will adapt a scene from a favorite novel into a three-page script with two characters. As many scenes will be workshopped by Jeremy O. Harris as possible, but every participant will come away with a deeper understanding of dramatic tension, character, and dialogue; a greater appreciation for the differences between novels and plays; and an innovative approach to teaching.

Jeremy O. Harris
