128 E 63rd St
New York, NY 10065

Our partner, The Society of Illustrators, is hosting this event.

Whether you are curious about the elements that shape children’s books, or ready to develop, polish, and complete your own, this master class will provide a clear road map from concept to a finished story that captivates young readers. You’ll discover how to find inspiration in your personal experiences, history, or current events to create engaging stories. Through creative exercises designed to shake us out of the “usual” approaches, you’ll learn to add fresh and surprising twists to your narratives, and by sharing your work with fellow teachers, you’ll gain valuable feedback that might spark an unexpected story—one only you can tell.
