Sree Sharma Mittra

Monday, Feb 12, 2024

9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m

An important healing aspect of yoga is learning to let go of the self in order to merge with everything, a process enhanced in a group setting, as everyone breathes together. Sri Dharma Mittra, the legendary yoga teacher, has devoted the past fifty-five years to sharing his deep knowledge of yoga. In this master class, he will provide an overview of classical yoga philosophy, including the eight-limbed path and the Koshas. He will also guide the class in the proper practice of yoga, including asana (the physical exercises), pranayama (the main breathing exercises), and guided meditation in corpse pose, which helps one discover what one really is beyond the body and the mind.

All levels of experience are welcome.
