Maira Kalman writes:

We all need to Walk. To Walk and Not Think. To Not Know. So we will take a walk. When we are done walking, we probably will have thoughts or images.

All of us have someone we want to write a letter to. A living person. Or dead person. Or a dead person we never met. (I am writing to Kafka.)

So we will all sit down and write and draw a letter. Hopefully with a cup of tea nearby.

This could be the beginning of a beautiful epistolary life.
